Final thoughts
I enjoyed the whole thing. I learned how to do things I never thought i could do. Such as blogging , uploading pictures , pasting embedded you tube videos , downloading e-books ..it was fun.
Our Libraries can take advantage of these tools since must of them are user friendly.
Our patrons can be better served online by using these tools especially "how to" videos that will show patrons how to do this and that. Our hcpl web-site definately needs some upgrading and user friendly features which could attract more patrons to our web-site.
Thoughts on "you tube"
Glad I could (for the first time) post a video on my blog.
I think that having educational (how to) videos on our Library web-site would be helpful. For example patrons who have problems putting a book on hold could simply click on help and then watch a video tutorial on how to place a book on hold.

social networking
I looked at the social networking video and how i wish social networking worked out as well as it should. Great idea but has to many down sides to it.
anything technology
Blogging is fun when you connect with people who have the same interests as yours - thats the only sense in it.
what library 2.0 means to me
Library 2.0,
Library 2.0 spells change , innovation and motivation.
Change: Libraries are changing the way they offer services to the public by making available web-related services such as online book holds and payments. However expect more changes in the future.
Innovation - Brilliant ideas that make libraries more user- friendly and fun.
Motivation - Why go to the library ? a young teen may ask, Library 2.0 has the power to attract even the most reluctant library goer by providing the resources , materials and technology needed to meet the needs of the emerging "wired up" generation.
Go 2.0!

my experience with del.ici.ous
Seems like a great research tool. Hopefully it may save research time.
8 min del.ici.ous tutorial
I viewed the 8 min tutorial and it seems that del.ici.ous is a good social networking tool for writing a book and general research.

Wise sayings
"I am only one,
But I am one,
I cannot do everything,
But still I can do something,
And because I cannot do everything,
I will not refuse to do the something I can do"
-Edward Everett Hale
